5 Things to Know About The Movement Loft

The Movement Loft is a bright dance, yoga and meditation studio that is nestled in the heart of the city of Dallas. Since we are new, we are eager to introduce our studio to the city! Here are five top things to know about The Movement Loft.

  1. We’re founded by a Dallas-native

Owner, Ellen Hoffman, was born and raised in Oak Cliff, and attended high school just down the street at Booker T. Washington HSPVA. Ellen has always dreamt of creating a space that compliments the arts culture in Dallas, and found her calling through the start of The Movement Loft.

  2. We offer adult dance classes in Dallas

It’s tricky to find adult-only dance studios that provide a range of dance classes that are fun, professionally-taught, AND are suitable for all levels of experience. That’s the vision for The Movement Loft dance programs: to provide a space for exploration, development and fitness. Try one of our dance classes!

  3. It’s all about balance, baby!

The classes and the studio spaces are designed to wind you up or help you wind down -your choice! Choose from a menu of classes like fast-paced vinyasa flow yoga and heart-pumping dance cardio, to wind down restorative yoga and quiet guided meditation classes. There is a class to match every level of energy, mood and need.

  4. Learn from experts

We host weekend workshops and masterclasses that are powered by movement, fitness and wellness experts who are dedicated to creating experiences and helping you maintain your health. We’re constantly adding to our weekend workshop calendar, so keep up to date with upcoming news and events!

  5. We’re building community

Our mission is to build community around movement. Join us for a class or workshop and find a tribe of like-minded individuals who are working from the inside out. We are proud to hold space for movers and shakers who seek to benefit from movement practices and health and wellness events.

More than anything we are excited to share the gifts and talents of our instructors with the community. Interested in checking us out? Visit www.movementloftstudios.com to learn more.
