Our yoga philosophy:

Yoga at The Movement Loft is a holistic experience. Unlike fitness-focused studios, our approach is to connect the body, mind and breath through a focus on all of the things the body CAN do, versus what the body cannot.

Our yoga style is about offering options and the power of choice. We don’t preach no pain, no gain. Instead, we focus on mindfully and intentionally building steady progress for oneself.

What you will gain is strength, confidence, stress relief, connection to yourself and community.

Every yoga class includes:

-60-minute practice guided by our certified yoga instructors

- Use of practice mats and mat wipes

All of our classes are guided by professional certified yoga instructors with a minimum of 200 hour training from a Yoga Alliance Certified School. Our instructors provide guidance in an inclusive and accepting environment designed to enhance your body, mind and spirit.

The Movement Loft has yoga classes for all levels of yogis. Our classes include: vinyasa classes, yin yoga, restorative yoga, beginner-friendly gentle yoga classes and more

Do I need to be flexible to do yoga?

A common misconception is that you have to be flexible to do yoga. In fact, yoga can actually help improve flexibility and mobility, in addition to alleviating some chronic issues like pain. Flexibility is actually a result of taking time to stretch and move the body.
