Sound Healing Certificate Program curriculum includes:
10 hours of learning both classroom and hands-on practice
History and origins of sound healing
Learn about the science of sound and how sound healing affects the brain and body
Gain knowledge on musicality, understanding notes and basic music theory
Understand the anatomy + physiology of sound healing, with trauma sensitivity
Understand how to utilize sound healing with different populations
Learn how to sequence your own sound bath
Gain hands on practice with various instruments
Hands-on practicum, including sequencing and playing a sound bath for peers

Cost:$499 includes 10 hours of instruction + practice, certificate of completion, learning materials, light refreshments daily

Led by Ellen Hoffman, E-RTY200 and owner of The Movement Loft. Ellen has facilitated 100’s of sound baths for more than 5 years, and specializes in holistic movement and meditation practices with a trauma-sensitive lens.

Yoga and movement instructors, massage therapists and other bodyworkers, or simply someone who is looking to deepen their knowledge of this practice. Learn to play the instruments with confidence, and create deep healing practices in your own community.
Do I need to bring anything?
Bring a notebook and pen to take notes, a yoga mat, and an open mind that is ready learn.
We also highly encourage each attendee to purchase one crystal or quartz sound bowl and mallet to bring with you to class. These are available through purchase via sites like 6Lynx, Etsy, Amazon and others.
Do I need to be a yoga instructor to attend?
No, anyone can learn to create powerful sound healing rituals. Sound healing is intrinsic to humans, across all parts of the world and all cultures. This training can be beneficial for anyone, instructor or not, who is looking to learn and grow in their healing practice. You will receive a certificate of completion at the end of this course, along with the deeper knowledge from the learnings.
